Stephanie joined NYCPros in 2011 and serves as a dental assistant specializing in implant surgical procedures, Jaw in a Day Procedures (JIAD™), and maxillofacial care. She educates and trains parents of cleft lip and palate infants on caring for and integrating nasoalveolar molding (NAM) into their baby’s daily life. With her years of experience in the field and genuinely empathetic nature, Stephanie also serves diligently as a personal 24-hour resource for parents navigating this life changing treatment. In 2023, she joined Dr. Brecht at the Mayo Clinic for a shared lecture on NAM for infants with cleft lip and palate. Stephanie earned her Certification in Dental Assisting from the New York School for Medical and Dental Assisting in 2000. When she’s not working with patients, Stephanie enjoys her time as a wife and the mother of two young children. You’ll often find them taking walks, riding bikes, BBQing in the backyard, and taking weekend trips. Stephanie is fluent in Spanish.
