Anabel joined our team in 2022 as a Registered Dental Hygienist to provide patients with high quality, preventive oral hygiene care and home instruction. With more than 25 years in the dental profession in a variety of settings, Anabel brings a wealth of experience along with her characteristic energy and listening skills to her practice of dental hygiene. Anabel earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Hostos Community College in 2010 and also graduated from Columbia University’s School of Dental Medicine Dental Assisting Program in 1998 with a certification in dental assisting. Anabel is also certified in CPR and Basic Life Support and enjoys researching how nutrition and medical diagnoses can impact dental health. When Anabel is not caring for patients, you can find her spending time with her two adult children, her large extended family of nieces and nephews, as well as her two sweet housecats.
